

The game’s battle system takes the form of a Turn-Based duel with your team of Librarians against the invading Guests. All the while the Blue Reverberation, otherwise known as Argalia, puts in motion a strange plot involving the Library that will shake the City, and its people, to their very core. From the lowly gang members, to the various psychos that prowl the streets, to the Fixers that make up most of its workforce, to the highest echelons of society, the Library continually picks a fight with stronger and stronger forces as they go from a mere urban legend to a real threat to the City itself. As Roland and Angela fight to add more and more books to the Libraries’ shelves, a winding plot unfolds that explores multiple parts of the City and its people. All of this is in service to Angela’s true goal- gaining the one “perfect” book that can make her into a human. If they lose, they will become a book themselves. Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX If the guests choose to accept, they must survive mortal combat against the Librarians that guard the building if they win, they can take any book they want.

Angela has a strange way of going about it though, as she sends out calling cards called Invitations to ask people to come to the Library and gives them a choice in whether they accept or decline. He soon finds himself in the company of the Head Librarian Angela, and after a brief scuffle, she decides to spare him and recruit him into defending the library. Roland, a low-grade Fixer from a location known only as the City, one day finds himself transported into the foyer of the titular Library, a mysterious location filled with books on any subject one could think of. The game’s story takes the form of a Visual Novel and follows directly from the ending of the previous game.

The game is a direct sequel to Lobotomy Corporation and as such reveals important plot points about the game’s main plot and ending. In-game, The Library acts as the main hub where the player can organize their teams of Librarians, their Key Pages and Combat Pages, additional equipment, check information of the Abnormality Pages, and send Invitations.

The Invitation offers Books of interest of the Guests, and if they do survive the ordeals within the Library, they can take the Books and leave. To access the Library, an Invitation has to be used, and those who sign the Invitation become the Guests. It focuses on storing Books from the people who die inside it. The Library is portrayed as a large, towering structure composed of 10 Floors that contains infinite internal space.
