Personally, I've found myself comfortably situated between the two extremes, more able to appreciate passion for than against the film series. That alone is enough to inspire ridicule and resentment in many who are not teenaged girls. For many teenaged girls, they are feelings of enjoyment and appreciation. The Twilight Saga produces strong feelings in people.
